She would race across the sky
If her feet could reach that high.
To feel the burning of the sun,
Then bounce on clouds just for fun.
She would skim the verdant trees.
And sail ecstatic on the breeze,
Then leap from bough to bough
And never question why or how.
When buildings obscured the way,
To celebrate the magic day
She’d scale their concreter heights
With such aerial delights.
If the rain fell she would smile
Loving every passing mile
With tingling drops upon her face
While floating onwards into space..
