    1. Thank you Steve. My cousins don’t read my blog. I live in East London and they live in Kent. In Britain this is distance enough for us although I have to say they are wonderful people (just in case they come across my blog!)

      1. Only joking Steve although sometimes a peaceful life requires a bit of insincerity. In this case however, my cousins outshine me with their positive features.

      2. I’m sure you are being modest, Margaret. One of my classmates in primary school became a leading Australian poet. He definitely outshone me, although he died when he was only 24 y.o.

      3. Oh Steve, it occurs to me that you might think me generally an insincere person and not sincere in praising your poems. This is far from true. If I don’t like a blogger’s work I make no comment. Your poems give me a lot of pleasure so please keep writing. A lot of people like your work as proved by the responses.

      4. Thanks, Margaret, I didn’t think that at all. I found your comment amusing as you intended, and I was joking myself. Of course I think you’re sincere.

Thank you for the encouragement. I know that people appreciate my stuff, but it’s more complicated than that. It depends on what I think of it, whether I value it, which is a different question that I won’t go into.
