DIGITAL DEMON

Because it was glamorised
I became digitised.
I should have realised
That once I was recognised
My custom would be patronised.
My wants and likes memorised.
MY wishes itemised.
My photo scrutinised
By those who advertised
For reasons commercialised.
My needs legitimised
Before they were internalised
So I became traumatised.
People moralised.
Nobody sympathised.
I wasn’t even televised!
Everyone was surprised
When images I exorcised
To become privatised.
I stopped being computerised
And took up knitting!
